The New Jersey School of Archery

The New Jersey School of Archery is located in Florham Park, NJ, and is under the direction of Michael Usherenko, a Level Four archery coach who was named National Archery Coach of the Year in 2008. Since 2007, Coach Mike has repeatedly been selected as an assistant coach for the US team at World Championships and World Cups.  In 2011 he coached the woman’s team to a silver medal at a World Cup event.  The school offers youth and adult lessons for beginning and advanced archers, and also sponsors a JOAD program. In the summer, the school shoots at the outdoor range in South Mountain Reservation.

WA-XO-BE Archers     

The largest archery club in New Jersey, Wa-Xo-Be Archers is comprised of archers of all skill levels, from beginner to professional.  All are dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of archery and making it accessible to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Bloomfield Archers

Bloomfield Archers, founded in the 1930s, is New Jersey’s oldest continuing archery club.  The clubhouse and field are located at the northwest corner of Brookdale Park. Across from the intersection of Bellevue Avenue and Glenside Terrace.

The club is active between April and October every year.  The club holds a Sunday shoot almost every weekend during the spring and summer.

Bloomfield Archers is also the home of the Bloomfield Gold Cup.

X-Ring Archers

“Archery at X-Ring Archers is a fun, safe, and exciting sport that has been enjoyed by all ages for centuries, fostering both mental and physical discipline. However, archery schools are very rare, and X-Ring Archers, located in Lambertville, is New Jersey's 1st and oldest archery school in the state. Owner/Director Jon C. Bach, 1 time National Champion, 3 time Sectional  Champion, 14 time State Champion and NAA Level 3 instructor, has been preparing students for competition, hunting, and recreation since 1999. Mr. Bach instructs and excels in all styles and is the only person in NJ who has won State indoor and Outdoor state titles in 4 different styles of archery.  X-Ring Archers also hosts a JOAD program, runs Archery leagues, and most importantly has structured classes for all levels and styles of Archery”
